EXPANDING INSIGHTS AND INFORMATION FOR ELECTRIC VEHICLE CAR SHARING
Purpose: The Zero Emission Vehicle (ZEV) Co-op (www.zev.coop) is the only member-owned, cooperatively governed electric vehicle car share enterprise in the United States. ZEV coop currently operates 7 sites in Washington State with plans to open several new sites in 2024. Urbanova serves as a community partner providing outreach and information for a planned site at Gonzaga University (April 2024). ZEV coop is also partnering with Urbanova for data reporting and analysis across the entire ZEV platform. Urbanova designed and deployed a business intelligence dashboard to help staff members and supporters track growth in users and trips, including vehicle miles driven and subsequent reduction in carbon emissions.
Approach: ZEV Co-op operates with a shared purpose to offer convenient, affordable and sustainable carsharing to communities and neighborhoods. ZEV focuses on expanding transportation options and access to all, by locating stations in underserved communities and providing a tiered rate for income qualified customers.
